Brent Greer, Investment Specialist/Exchangor

 

Brent Greer is a veteran marketing consultant and commercial/investment specialist. His focus is representing clients who are buying, selling and leasing income-generating properties -- particularly multi-family, office, retail and land -- and advising investors on using IRS 1031 tax-deferred real estate exchanges to build wealth. He began his real estate career after heading a highly successful marketing management/public relations consultancy whose clients included many firms servicing the real estate industry. Brent majored in journalism at The Ohio State University, and holds a number of business communication awards. He is part of the original Prudential Commercial Real Estate expansion into Central Ohio, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Realtors Commercial Alliance, Ohio Association of Realtors, Columbus Board of Realtors, Ohio Commercial Real Estate Exchange Association, Central Ohio Commercial Information Exchange, and Columbus Real Estate Exchangors (CREE). A member of the Prudential Columbus Executive Committee that oversees the Prudential's Central Ohio operations, Brent is past president of CREE, a 180-member organization comprised of brokers and exchangors throughout Ohio who who counsel high net worth clients on using 1031 exchanges to build lifetime income streams from investment real estate portfolios. He also sits on the City of Columbus' Property Maintenance Appeals Board, representing the real estate industry. Away from the office, Brent is an avid outdoorsman, and a personal safety instructor, teaching self-defense, youth safety, crime avoidance and various tactical safety programs.
